1. Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Equipment and assess patients respiratory care needs and administer the appropriate required treatment.
1. Administer the following respiratory modalities
1. Aerosol Therapy
1. Incentive Spirometry
1. Chest Physiotherapy
1. Perform Pulmonary Function Testing.
1. Extract Arterial Blood Gas sample.
1. Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
1. Operates mechanical ventilators and conduct regular ventilatory check.
1. Attends in emergency calls.
1. Assist in intubations and perform extubation.
1. Assist and participate in special procedure and transportation of ventilated patients.
1. Perform tracheal aspiration and sputum collection.
1. Attend and participate in staff development program.
1. Maintain respiratory supplies.
16. Assist in orientation of new hires.
