Job Description
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Equipment and assess patients respiratory care needs and administer the appropriate required treatment.
- Administer the following respiratory modalities
- Aerosol Therapy
- Incentive Spirometry
- Chest Physiotherapy
- Perform Pulmonary Function Testing.
- Extract Arterial Blood Gas sample.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
- Operates mechanical ventilators and conduct regular ventilatory check.
- Attends in emergency calls.
- Assist in intubations and perform extubation.
- Assist and participate in special procedure and transportation of ventilated patients.
- Perform tracheal aspiration and sputum collection.
- Attend and participate in staff development program.
- Maintain respiratory supplies.
- Assist in orientation of new hires.
