Medical Secretary

• Responsible for the organizing, typing, distribution and maintenance of all correspondence, reports and records relating to the department.
• Coordinates all paperwork associated with the orientation programme.
• Serves as a receptionist in screening visitors and telephone calls.
• Monitors and directs incoming calls.
• Assist with the arrangements for visiting VIPs if required.
• Prepares Programme of Events for the Recreation Centre.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned.
• Coordinates and evaluates all questionnaires administered by the H.R. Department.
• Performs other duties as requested.
• Covers 24 hours on call duties, evening and night shifts, weekends and holidays.

• Typing speed of 50 wpm, shorthand speed of 80wpm.
• Fluent in verbal and written English language.
• Knowledge in advance computer skills.
• Self-motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic with good communication skills.
• Must be able to work in an environment of different cultural, educational and religious backgrounds and display tact understanding and tolerance towards such differences.
• Familiarity with a PC or word processor desirable and Microsoft Office is essential.
