• Received sort record and wash all surgical instruments, anesthesia tubing and bottles in the mechanical washer & manual washing.  
• Disinfect all dirty instruments and equipment in the clean area.
• Assemble and pack all surgical instruments and equipment in the clean area.
• Sterilize and store all packs in the sterile area safely and effectively.
• Operate all the machines in CSSD safely and effectively.
• Establish and maintain positive professional relationship within the department and hospital staff.
• Perform on call duties whenever assigned on roster during evening night and holiday. 
• Know the names of different instruments. 
• Know the names of different surgical/medical procedures.
• Know the use of different sterilizing machines.    
• Prepare and  understand and follow the hospital policy & procedures demonstrate positive attitude when it .comes to additional duties required by the head of department
• Demonstrate professionalism and be a role model to colleagues.

• Verbal and written comprehension of the English language.
• Knowledge of surgical instrument desirable.
• Previous foreign travel / work experience desirable.
