Job Description
- Received sort record and wash all surgical instruments, anesthesia tubing and bottles in the mechanical washer & manual washing.
- Disinfect all dirty instruments and equipment in the clean area.
- Assemble and pack all surgical instruments and equipment in the clean area.
- Sterilize and store all packs in the sterile area safely and effectively.
- Operate all the machines in CSSD safely and effectively.
- Establish and maintain positive professional relationship within the department and hospital staff.
- Perform on call duties whenever assigned on roster during evening night and holiday.
- Know the names of different instruments.
- Know the names of different surgical/medical procedures.
- Know the use of different sterilizing machines.
- Prepare and understand and follow the hospital policy & procedures demonstrate positive attitude when it .comes to additional duties required by the head of department
- Demonstrate professionalism and be a role model to colleagues.
Skills Description
- Verbal and written comprehension of the English language.
- Knowledge of surgical instrument desirable.
- Previous foreign travel / work experience desirable.
