• Collects dirty equipment and instruments.
• Cleans, Decontaminates, repackages, and sterilizes instruments, restocks and assembles case carts and surgical
• Ensures specialty carts are stocked and ready for immediate use.
• Performs quality control through routine testing and cleaning to assure sterilization equipment and instruments are functioning properly.
• Inspects equipment, instruments, and packaging for cleanliness, defects and/or malfunctions.
• Documents sterilization cycle. Labels products with sterilization date. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
• Knowledge of transporting and disposing of hazardous materials and sharp objects according to hospital procedure

• Skill in following written instructions and performing multiple tasks and organizational skills.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other.

in Sterilization City and guilds for equivalent to three (3) years program.
