Collects dirty equipment and instruments.
Cleans, Decontaminates, repackages, and sterilizes instruments, restocks and assembles case carts and surgical
Ensures specialty carts are stocked and ready for immediate use.
Performs quality control through routine testing and cleaning to assure sterilization equipment and instruments are functioning properly.
Inspects equipment, instruments, and packaging for cleanliness, defects and/or malfunctions.
Documents sterilization cycle. Labels products with sterilization date. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Knowledge of transporting and disposing of hazardous materials and sharp objects according to hospital procedure

Skill in following written instructions and performing multiple tasks and organizational skills.
Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other.
