Job Description
- Receive and review admission applications and verify that all admission requirements and supporting documents are complete.
- Enter, update, and maintain student records within the university information systems.
- Process course registration; add/drop requests, withdrawals, deferments, and other academic transactions in accordance with university regulations.
- Issue academic transcripts, enrolment certificates, graduation documents, and other official student records.
- Maintain accurate and secure academic files and student records.
- Respond to inquiries from students and faculty members regarding admissions and registration procedures.
- Prepare reports, statistics, and analyses related to admissions and registration activities.
- Coordinate with academic departments and colleges regarding study plans, course offerings, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, academic regulations, and quality standards.
- Participate in the development and improvement of admissions and registration processes and electronic services.
Skills Description
- Experience/familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet program, e.g., Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications.
- Minimum of forty-five (45) words per minute typing speed (including typing from audiotape and shorthand).
- High standard of written and oral communication skills in English
- Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to deal calmly with tact and diplomacy to ensure good rapport with other hospital staff.
- Good communications, organizational and administrative skills.
- Initiative and ability to prioritize tasks and work to deadlines in a busy office environment, without direct supervision
