Job Description
- Carries out the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of the patients including prescribing of all necessary medication & investigations.
- Offers consultation to other departments in his specialty as well as in General Medical Cases.
- Takes on- call duty for medical patients, who present to Emergency Department and patients in Medical Department according to the monthly rota.
- Participates in the teaching of the Medical Staff in general and specifically in his own discipline of Pulmonology.
- Undertakes and participates in research projects in collaboration with Medical and Paramedical Staff as appropriate.
- Participates in the administration of the department, when requested to do by the Chief of Department or Higher Authority.
- Carries out diagnostic procedures related to his specialty (e.g. Bronchoscopy) when indicated.
