1- Be in-charge of adopting rational standardization programs in coordination with other supplies staff and the end-user/requesting departments.

2- Provide precise descriptions for items used within the PSMMC and ensure updating on computer system.

3- Coordinate with end-users and control materials and supply operations in tackling problems and resolving queries in regards to medical equipment and consumable medical items.

4- Coordinate with medical-surgical departments regarding slow moving and near to be expired items and coordinate with the Nursing regarding usage and history in order to maintain decrease of item monthly usage with respect to the dental and therapeutic committee.

5- Review and study new departmental requisition for newly introduced items and to ensure that items or alternative is accepted and approve as a stock items.

6- Investigate important enquiries incoming from end-users and coordinate in the matter.

7- Maintain a comprehensive library containing manufacturers and local vendors as well as an automated indexing system.

8- Provide assistance in near expiry warning procedures.

9- Prepare tender by cost allocation and the resumed quantity. Also, participate in tender related committees.

10- Review all necessary items reports and carry out the required action.

11- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee's knowledge, skills and abilities.

Education / Licensure :

-  Diploma in Nursing (2 years).

-  Valid registration from Saudi Commission for
Health Specialties as Nursing Technician.

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with valid
registration from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Specialist.

1- Current working knowledge of area to which assigned.

2- Computer literate.

3- Good communication skills.
