• Monitor windows servers, Vmware servers, swithes,routers, other hardware available and its associated peripherals as per predefined policies and procedures.

• Selects appropriate discs, tapes and stationery to accomplish processing requirements to agreed schedule.

• Monitors all system activity, making adjustments to control streams/hardware as and when necessary.

• Informs Supervisor of any critical situations, writing out incident and shift reports.

• Liaison with user departments and Systems and Programming section in providing assistance as and when necessary.

• Monitors terminal network, controlling device access and advises users on faults and operation of terminal.

• Ensures that systems data integrity is maintained by taking appropriate security backups.

• Carries out other job related duties as required by the Operations Supervisor.
