Duties and Responsibilities:Carries out all technical procedures related to specimen collection, sample preparation, analysis and recording of results, under the direction of Senior Medical Laboratory Staff and the appropriate Consultant.Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, quality control standards and safety standards.Uses departmental computer equipment to store and retrieve data.Maintains equipment according to schedules.Assists in training as required.Takes part in Departmental On-call Rota.Rotates throughout the Medical Laboratory Department as required.Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.Participate in continuous medical education by preparing of documents and lectures

Specialized Knowledge: (Desirable)Experience in automation.Experience in the use of computer equipment.Experience in safety orientation and quality knowledge
