فني غسيل كلى / Dialysis technician

• Assist in dialysis treatment carried out in the unit and ensure that treatment is started and finished with minimum problem.

• Provide emergency dialysis services outside normal working hours as required.

• Communicate with the patients to improve understanding of their treatment.

• Inform senior departmental personnel should patients require the attention of a Consultant.

• Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and report any malfunctions to the Senior Dialysis Technician.

• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.

• For Diploma holder: Six (6) months to one (1) year On Job Training (OJT) for PSMMC Diploma.

• For Bachelor’s Degree holder: Two (2) years experience as a Dialysis Technician.

• Good theoretical and technical knowledge, and skilled in various practical procedures in renal dialysis.

• Familiarity with and competent in using various types of dialysis equipment.

• Compassionate and have excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
