.1 Attend the general medical meetings (Handover) and the clinical area team meetings to provide advice on medication and to identify newly requested drugs and the cost implications of these.

.2 Participate with other health care professionals in medical rounds to review patient medication, identification of drug related problems, monitor use and administration of medication, check appropriateness of drug (dose, regimens, indications, serum levels, adverse effects and interactions), promotion of medication compliance and documenting any therapeutic recommendations and interventions in patients file.

.3 Be able to assist the medical staff with selection of drug therapy and patients monitoring.

Good standard of written and oral communication skills in English.

Familiar with current updated references and disease-related treatment guidelines and protocols.

3.24 Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.
