• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To fulfill the agreed Consultant work plan for the post. Details available on Directorate and specialty specific basis.

• To comply with published Consultant on-call rosters as agreed with the Clinical Director.

• To actively participate in all Directorate clinical, education and management activities.

• Through leadership of the clinical team to actively develop and improve services.

• To undertake any additional duties requested by the Clinical Director or Hospital Management.

• PERSONAL QUALITIES/SKILLS REQUIRED:

7.1       Essential:         Well developed clinical leadership and teaching skills.

7.2       Essential:         Ability to initiate and achieve service development.

7.3       Essential:         Capacity for working effectively in a multi-disciplinary and multi- national environment.
