استشاري الاشعة التداخلية (Consultant Interventional Radiologist)

1 Abides by the Medical Staff By-Laws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department.
2 Carries out full range of clinical duties as assigned by the Head of Interventional Radiologist in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges.
3 Responsible for the maintenance of high standards of diagnostic examinations.
4 Responsible for the implementation of radiation protection procedures.
5 Responsible for consultation with medical staff on the radiological investigation of their patients in order to decide whether any examination requested is appropriate of necessary.
6 Will be required to attend all departmental meetings
7 Panicipates on the on-call duties as an Interventional Radiologist as required by the department
8 Teaches staff assigned for training purposes and participates with the Head of Interventional Radiologist
9 Participates in the improvement of quality of patient care ( Total Quality Management Programme, Quality Assessment Improvement Programme) as applicable.
10 Fulfills the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to continuing medical education
11 Participates in the forward planning and further development of the depafiment
12 Deputizes for his superior as required and shares workload in his specialty during the absence of his colleagues
13 Participates in and/or actively supports approved research projects
14 Serves on hospital committees as requested
15 Strives to improve his clinical expertise as well as standard of practice with regard to morbidity and cost effectiveness

1 Graduate from recognized medical school.
2 Saudi Board or equivalent higher qualification in Radiology.
3 Sub-specialty degree on Interventional Radiology
4 Three (3) years specialized post higher qualification training/experience in Interventional Radiology in a recognized centre, of which a minimum of two (2) years must be at a Senior Registrar Interventional Radiology.
5 Publisher of original work, have panicipated and preferably led original research.
6 Experience in teaching and training.
7 Self-motivated and with awareness of current trends in the field.
8 Ability to work effectively in multi-cultural environment
9 Ability to speak, write and read English.
