          Performs nursing assessment of all acutely ill patients, plans, implement, and evaluate nursing care rendered.

5.2     Work with other health specialist in the complete assessment and planning of what medical intervention and assistance to provide to the patient together with family members.

5.3     Check, evaluate put into document, and inform the doctor on the discovered symptoms, changes, and development of the condition of patients.

5.4     Assist physician in some invasive procedures such as central line insertion, arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion, cut down procedure, endotracheal intubation & estuation, renal biopsy procedure, bone marrow aspiration procedure, bladder and abdominal tapping, bedside ICP insertion and bronchial lavage procedure.

5.5     Administer medications via all routes such as: infusions, IV bolus, and intra-tracheal, intra-muscular, oral and subcutaneous. Administer blood products and chemo-therapy.

5.6     Assist doctor during cardio-pulmonary arrest and giving emergency drugs.

5.7     Perform complex procedures that involve a lot of skill and knowledge such as: peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, exchange transfusions, multiple drug therapy infusions, initiating pediatric life support, transporting ventilated patients, mass blood transfusions, nursing care of patients with mechanical ventilation and high frequency of ventilation.

5.8     Supervise junior staff, nurse volunteers, and nurse assistant in performing nursing care. Evaluate their performance along with the Head Nurse every three months.

5.9     Use or maintain the good condition of medical equipment, devices, tools, or apparatus needed in the medical procedures.

5.10   May establish and execute discharge planning procedures upon patient admission.

5.11   Participate in giving counsel and health teachings to patients and family members regarding their disease by collaborating with other health services.

• PREVIOUS CHARGE NURSE OR TEAM LEADER IS BENEFICIAL
