Resident General Surgeon

• Provides the highest standard pf medical care for the patients for whom he/she is responsible.
• To clerk and examine the patients admitted to the surgical war, to carry out the appropriate investigations and report the results to senior colleagues.
• To attend General Surgery Out-patient Clinic when required for educational purposes as well as to assist in talking in patient histories and examinations under the supervision of senior colleagues.
• To assist his senior colleagues in performing diagnostic for therapeutic procedures as required.
• Shares workload in his specialty during the absence of his colleagues.
• Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical facilities.

• Must have sound and excellent knowledge in General Surgery, Trauma & Emergency Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery & other relevant surgical subspecialties.
• Commitment to learning and training in pursuance if a career in the chosen medical specialty.
• Ability to work effectively in multi cultural environment.
