Duties and Responsibilities:
Undertakes clinical duties as designated by the Chief of Imaging in any of the subspecialties through which Registrars rotate on a weekly basis. May be required to undertake duties at any establishment.
Assists the Radiology Resident and participates in the formal radiology residency training programme.
Supervises technical staff, other paramedical staff and nursing staff involved in radiological investigations. Analyses the results of radiological examinations.
May participate in research programmes with agreement of the Chief of Imaging.
Undertakes emergency and on call duties.
Participates in orientation and in-service education programmes.
Participates in CQI & PS systems improvement activities.
Participates in CQI & PS staff development activities.
Participate in Community activities as related to health education and patient education practice.
Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his / her knowledge, skill and ability.
Education / Licensure:
Minimum qualification is Master of Radiology, however, MD is preferred.
Current licensure from the country of origin.
SCHS Accreditation & Registration
Basic Life Support (BLS).
