Pharmacy Technician

• Maintain stock levels and stocks control kin the assigned and other designed areas e.g. floor stock.

• Monitors inventory of outdated drugs.

• Assists in preparing compounding simple preparations.

• Assists in filling prescriptions for outpatient.

• Maintains adequate stock of pre-packaged pharmaceuticals

• Maintain patient profiles.

• Assist in the inventory of pharmacy stocks.

• Maintains record and book keeping in accordance to pharmacy policy and procedure.

• Performs other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge skills and abilities.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University.

• Excellent knowledge in chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceuticals, therapeutics patient care technique, bio pharmaceutics, microbiology, quality assurance and medication administration techniques.

• Should have excellent communication skills and ability to manage people.
