DENTAL LABORATORY SPECIALIST

• Will be responsible for the fabrication of removable and fixed prosthesis, orthodontic appliances, splints and other maxillofacial appliances.

• Will monitor both incoming and completed cases for recording and quality control.

• Will ensure proper use, care and maintenance of all Laboratory equipment relating to patients cases.

• Will be acquainted with the infection control policies of the department relating to patients cases.

• Will be supervised by an appointed Chief of Laboratory Technician.

• Shall be generally supervised by a Prosthodontist or an appointed Dentist.

Participates in the quality improvement Program

• Knowledgeable and ability to set-up, operate and maintain all Dental Laboratory equipment related to his/her work.

• Be able to work with minimal supervision & with good working interaction with co-workers.

• Ability to work with others as a team member.

• Ability to communicate effectively.
