المهام و الواجبات
Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation and equipment.
Responsible for the review and completion of all maintenance requisitions in a timely manner.
Responsible for assessing the compatibility and safety of all new medical equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices, and systems.
Maintain documentation on new equipment, inspections, and equipment repairs and failures.
Schedule and oversee third-party repair as necessary and as applicable.
Provide technical assistance and instructions on equipment operation and maintenance to medical and clinical personnel.
Analyze cost/work schedules, set priorities, and expedites operations and Repairs.
Responsible for the preparation/approval of personnel evaluations/actions within the Biomedical Engineering Department.
Responsible for the preparation of various reports when required.
Participates on safety, procurement and other committees as required.
Participates in CQIPS System Improvement Activities, CQIPS System Control Activities, CQIPS Staff Development Activities.
Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Ability to analyze, repair, and test electronic and electromechanical equipment.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance inspections.
Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests.
Ability to demonstrate use and maintenance of medical equipment and to perform calibration, repair, maintenance of medical equipment using specialized test equipment.
