المهام و الواجبات
1- Abides by
the Medical SIBff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and
Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department.
2- Carries out fulJrange ofclinical duties as assignedby the Director ofRadiodiagoostics & Medical Imaging and the Consultant in accordance withindividually approved clinical privileges.
3-To provide and maintain the highest attainable standard of diagnostic examinations.
4- Toimplement and strictly follow the radiation protection procedures.
5- To ensure that the requested radiological examinations are appropriate or necessary
through consultation with his superiors.
6- Rotates througheach imaging sub-specialty as requiml by the Director of
Radiodiagnostics & Medical Imaging.
7- Will be required to attend clinical/radiological meetings and all other departmental
8- Panicipatesinlheon-caJI duties as requiredby the department.
9- Teaches staff assigned for tnining purposes. and participates with the Director of Radiodiagoostics & Medical Imaging and Consultant Radiologist in planning a programme ·ofcareer developmem for trainees.
10- Panicipatcs inthe improvementof quality of patient care (Tow Quality Managem entProgramme. QualityAs.9essment Improvement Programme) asapplicable.
11 .Fulfills the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regaid to
continuing medical educalion.
12- Participates in and/or actively supports approved research projects.
13- . Deputisesfor the Consultant as required and shares workloadin his specialty during
the absence ofscolleagues.
14- Strives 10 improve his clinical expertise as well as standard of practice with regard
to morbidity and cost effectiveness.
15- Participascs in the Major Disaster Plan of tbc hospital, as indicated
16- Educates patients and/or familieson Jnlltas rclevmt to the paticnt•s conditionfs.
17- Protects and upholds the rights of the pdients and their families.
