المهام و الواجبات
- Duties and Responsibilities:
4.1 Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department/division.
4.2 Provides the highest attainable standard of medical care for the patients for whom he/she is responsible
4.3 Carries out a full range of inpatient and outpatient clinical duties as assigned by director of
department/head of division and the Consultant in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges
4.4 Participates in on-call duties as required by the department/division
4.5 Teaches staff assigned for training purposes, and participates with the director of department/
head of division and the Consultant in planning a programme of career development for trainees.
4.6 Participates in the improvement of quality of puient care (Total Quality Management Programme, Quality Assessment Improvement Programme) as applicable.
4.7 Fulfills the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to continuing medical education.
4.8 Participates in and/or actively supports approved research projects
4.9 Deputizes for the Consultant as required and shares the workload in his specialty during the absence of his colleagues.
4.10 Strives to improve his clinical expertise as well as standard of practice with regard to morbidity and cost effectiveness
411 Participates in the major disaster plan of the hospital as indicate
4.12 Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical facilities.
المهارات
Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
5.1.Qualifications or Relevant Experience:
5.1.1 Graduate from a recognized medical school
5.1.2 Saudi Board qualification in Neurosurgery, or equivalent
5.1.3 Certification in Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
5.1.4 Category A and B hospitals:
Specialized post qualification training/experience in Neurosurgery for a minimum
of two (2) years in a recognized centre.
5.1.5 Some specialized post qualification experience in Neurosurgery (Category C and
D hospitals)
5.2 Preferred:
5.2.1 Self-motivated and with awareness of current trends in the field.
5.2.2 Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
5.2.3 Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English.
