مشغل معالجة المياه والصرف / WATER-SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR

• Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct.
• Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department and the hospital as per the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.
• Actively participates in the education requirement for the department and the hospital as per the Hospital Education Program. 
• Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the scope of practice and employment contract 
• Monitors water consumption and pressure fluctuation. 
• Monitors of all equipments, pumps, etc. in both Water Treatment and Sewage treatment plant
• Routine monitoring of the Total Dissolved Solid (T.D.S.) in all Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) unit streams and refill chemicals at the dosing tank when required.
• Routine check of potable water tank chlorine level.
• Performs back wash of Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) units sand filters and checked the pneumatic valves if it is opening and closing properly.
• Performs chemical cleaning and replace cartridge filters of all R.O. unit stream membrane whenever is required. 
• Transfer sludge in biggest tank whenever is necessary.
• Adjusts chemical dosing pumps if necessary. 
• Close underground valves whenever there is a pipe line break to isolate the area. 
• Injects chemicals in the chiller room at the housing area as per the PPM schedule. 
• Keeps accurate records of the main control reading, including the water consumption. 
• Submit weekly computation of chemical consumption and stock on-hand to the Senior Operator.
• Ensures quality of potable water and sewage control by chemical flows.   
• Adjusts treatment plants as necessary.
• Responsible in operation of water/sewage treatment plant

• Knowledge in the field of chemistry, or with chemistry background especially in handling chemicals such as acid and other basic chemicals. 
• Knowledge in Personal Computer. 
• Knowledge in Microsoft Application Software. 
• Good command in English both written and oral.
