• Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct

• Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department and the hospital as per the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan

• Actively participates in the education requirement for the department and the hospital as per the Hospital Education Program 

• Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the scope of practice and employment contrac 

• Prepares monthly & weekly reports detailing fuel logistics power consumption, defects, spares operational function.

• Check & inspection of emergency generators if ensure was automated operational during the power failure from SEC. 

• Check main tank storage to maintained 99% above content level and tracking fuel delivery to avoid overflow.

• Monitor incoming power from SCECO to feed-up to Housing, Hospital and Industrial area respectively. 

• Coordinates AQESA contractor that 3 units' gas turbines was rehabilitated including Axced Arab contractor for emergency generator maintenance. 

• Prepares monthly reports, detailing fuel logistics, power consumption, defects, spares, operational functions, personnel costing, and maintenance schedules.

• Assists in updating operational procedures, safety procedures, policies and procedures as when required. 

• Ensures all power plant operators undergo full training for safe and correct operations in accordance with written operational procedures. 

• Take charge of removal, installation, setting to work and re-commissioning gas generators when necessary. 

• Take charge of all service scheduling. Ensures that all specialized work is carried out on gas turbines, fuel system, electro-mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems are in accordance with set procedures. 

• Provides technical expertise on gas turbines, associated auxiliary machinery, Woodward electronic control system for fault finding and subsequent rectification. 

• Ensures in conjunction with Fire Brigade all fire and safety devices are fully operational. Ensures all lifting equipment, pressure vessels are tested to safeguard and prevent injury to personnel. 

• Provides professional advice to Design Engineers for all capital work. Ensures all equipment under his supervision is operational at the highest level of efficiency and at a minimal cost. 

• Ensures full availability of Six (6) Emergency Diesel Generators carrying out and keeping logs of all On and Off-Load Tests stipulated by regulations and good engineering practice.

• Knowledge of electronic control systems, especially Woodward systems.  Sound working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic controls and systems. Certified in low-voltage and high-voltage preferred. 

• Knowledge of engineering store process.

• Knowledge in Personal Computer. 

• Knowledge in Microsoft Application Software.

• Good command in English both written and oral.
