المهام و الواجبات
-Fly Patients from one place to another across the nation or across the world as required.
-Prepare and provide instructional modules to enable pilots get certification in various flight operation categories.
-Train pilots as Navigator, aircraft Operator, Loadmaster Flight Engineer or any other aircrew position on MEDEVAC's aircraft.
-Ensure safety of Patients, the aircraft and its crew through effective functions of an airline pilot.
-Provide assistance to aircrew and provide training in various aspects of flights.
-Provide practical training relevant to areas covered during theory lessons.
-Organize and conduct cockpit familiarization classes and prepare reports on pilots proficiency based on established parameters.
-Develop instructional modules to include a broad range of topics such as operation procedures, aircraft systems, emergency procedures, navigation according to MEDEVAC procedures and policies.
-Check and inspect aircraft and its controls for its operational efficiency and safety before takeoff.
-Study and analyze route and flight plans before take-off.
-Observe and check weather conditions before take-off.
-Keep in touch and communicate with the air traffic control while piloting the aircraft.
-Conduct pre-flight checks on navigation and operating systems.
-Calculate the fuel intake and load and fuel the aircraft accordingly.
-Brief and maintain regular contact with the flight crew throughout the flight.
-React appropriately to ensure the safety of Patients and crew during emergencies and adverse circumstances.
-Performs other related duties as required.
