3.1 Undertakes electrical troubleshooting and prepares parts lists to complete repairs as
part of service order requests or PPM.
3.2 Undertakes tests including continuity to maintain the elevators in safe condition.
3.4 Undertakes safety checks on new purchased parts and appliances to ensure safe for
use and ensures documentation is completed.
3.5 Undertakes PPM and repairs, including lamping up, to ensure all hospital elevators
are maintained in good condition, domestic appliances, motors etc...
3.6 Participates in the engineering department shift rota.
3.8 Protects and upholds the rights of the patients and their families.
3.9 Participate in quality improvement and patient safety activities and attends quality
improvement educational activities as appropriate.
3.10 Adhere to infection control guidelines.
3.11 Maintain confidentiality at all times.
