المهام و الواجبات
- Duties and Responsibilities:
3.1 Prepares daily census reports using computer census reports distributed to all departments of the hospital.
3.2 Ensures receipt of all records of patients discharged from hospital by checking the list of discharged patients.
3.3 Receives and checks all admission notifications with admission list.
3.4 Assembles patient medical record in permanent filing order.
3.5 Records statistical data from patient medical record.
3.6 Notes deficiencies to be completed by physicians or other professional staff.
3.7 Abstracts patient medical record for computer analysis and enters onto computer
3.8 Codes and indexes all diseases and procedures as per WHO Classification of Diseases.
3.9 Maintains control records for incomplete/delinquent patient medical records and prepares notices to physicians concerning status of same.
3.10 Maintains physician index, consultant register and death register on monthly basis.
3.11 Compiles periodic statistical reports from records and other data such as census reports and discharge service analysis.
3.12 Performs other job-related duties as required.
3.13 Participates in the improvement of quality in the hospital (Quality Management Program).

- Must be able to work in an environment of different cultural educational and religious backgrounds and to display tack understanding and tolerance towards such differences.
- Must be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Must be detail oriented person, able to work from own initiative.
- Must be willing to learn specialized technology
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
