• Duties and Responsibilities:

• Should perform Ultrasound in accordance with the Departmental Policies and Procedure Guidelines.

• Should supervise scheduling, patient transportation and preparations for Ultrasound.

• Operating and maintaining the ultrasound equipment or machinery.

• Analyzing imaging data to ensure sufficient coverage of test area.

• Should ensure the safety of patients under their direct control and has a responsibility to themselves and others with regards to the Departmental Guidelines on Health and Safety.

• Should liaise with medical, nursing and ancillary staff to ensure an efficient service.

• Should participate in the on-call service, out of normal working hours when required.

• Should participate in in-service education and training when required.

• Should perform other duties and tasks as required within the realm of their knowledge and ability.
