سكرتارية طبية - MEDICAL SECRETARY

•               Duties and responsibilities: 

•        Responsible for the production, organization, maintenance and distribution of all correspondence, reports and records relating to the department.

•           Liaises with patients, medical staff and other departments within the hospital.

•      Takes minutes of the meeting; transcribes and distributes to the relevant personnel.

•     Establishes, implements and maintains efficient filing system within the department.

•        Screens, monitors and directs visitors and telephone calls.

•            Maintains total confidentiality at all times.

•         Participates in the Major Disaster Plan of the hospital, as indicated.

•          Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the department where he/she is assigned as per the directive of the chief of the department, within the realm of the employee knowledge, skills and abilities.

•    Specialized knowledge:

• Comprehensive knowledge of hospital and medical terminology.

•            With a typing speed of fifty (50) words per minute.

• Personal qualities / skills:

• Self- motivated and with awareness of current trends in the field;

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment;

• Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English;

• Ability to work with minimum supervision;

• Ability to handle multi-tasking;

•          Flexible to whatever department maybe assigned with.
