3.1. Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and
Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department.
3.2. Responsible for the provision and maintenance of an efficient consultative,
diagnostic and advisory service in Chemical Pathology.
3.3. Provides Advice to the Director of Medical Laboratory concerning trends and new
developments in the field of Chemical Pathology.
3.4. Participates in the management of physical and manpower resources of
Microbiology to maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

6.1. Self-motivated and with awareness of current trends in the field.
6.2. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
6.3. Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English.
