استشاري تصوير اشعة جسم (Consultant Body Imaging Radiologist)

1 Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department.
2 Carries out full range of clinical duties as assigned by the Director of Radio diagnostics & Medical Imaging in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges.
3 Responsible for the maintenance of high standards of diagnostic examinations.
4 Responsible for the implementation of radiation protection procedures.
5 Responsible for consultation with medical staff on the radiological investigation of their patients in order to decide whether any examination requested is appropriate or necessary.
6 Will be required to attend all departmental meetings
7 Teaches staff assigned for training purposes, and participates with the Director of Radio diagnostics & Medical Imaging and Director of Postgraduate and Academic Affairs in planning a program of career development for trainees
8 Participates in the improvement of quality of patient care (Total Quality Management
Programme, Quality Assessment Improvement Programme) as applicable
9 Fulfills the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to continuing medical education.
10 Participates in the forward planning , and further development of the department
11 Serves on hospital committees as requested
12 Participates in and/or actively supports approved research projects.
13 Deputizes for his superior as required and shares workload in his specialty during the absence of his colleagues.
14 Strives to improve his clinical expertise as well as standard of practice with regard to morbidity and cost effectiveness.
15 Participates in the Major Disaster Plan of the hospital, as indicated.
16 Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical

1 Graduate from a recognized medical school.
2 Saudi Board or equivalent higher qualification in Radiology.
3 Subspecialty degree in body imaging.
4 Two (2) years subspecialized experience in body imaging in a recognized centre post higher qualification.
5 Publisher of original work, have participated and preferably led original research.
6 Experience in teaching and training,
7 Self-motivated and with awareness of current trends in the field.
8 Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
9 Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English.

Saudi Board or equivalent higher qualification in Radiology & Subspecialty degree in body imaging.
