المهام و الواجبات
1 Abides by the hospital policies and rules and regulations specific to the department.
2 Participates in the routine work of the Radiation Therapy Section of the Department including but not limited to:
2.1 Radiotherapy treatment planning; calculations of treatment parameters including the imaging of treatment volumes and normal tissues
2.2 Clinical dosimetry
2.3 Quality Assurance of linear accelerators, and treatment planning systems
3 Participates in the monitoring of the safe usage of all radioactive sources, in routine calibrations of radiation fields, and in record keeping in accordance with local and international regulations.
4 Strives to improve his scientific and clinical expertise as well as standard of practice and acquaint himself with any current trend in his field of specialty.
5 Assist the Consultant Medical Physicist of the Radiation Therapy Section in
5.1 The formulation of strategies for the improvement of services provided by the Section.
5.2 The supervision of trainees
5.3 Ensuring that all implemented Total Quality Management regimes are conducted effectively and assesses the results of the quality assurance monitoring.
5.4 Supervises the work of external maintenance contractors and assesses the state of the equipment after any such work.
5.5 Keeps abreast of relevant developments in the Radiotherapy field. Relates and applies these developments to finding solutions to clinical problems. To undertake original research to achieve this objective.
6 Deputizes for his superior as required.
7 Strives to improve his scientific and clinical expertise as well as standard of practice and acquaint himself with any current trend in his field of specialty.
8 Support the quality assurance activities of the team and actively contribute to the identification of needed improvement in current service provision and strategies

2 يشارك في العمل الروتيني لقسم العلاج الإشعاعي بالقسم بما في ذلك على سبيل المثال لا الحصر:

5 مساعدة استشاري الفيزياء الطبية لقسم العلاج الإشعاعي في
5.1 صياغة استراتيجيات تحسين الخدمات التي يقدمها القسم.
5.2 الإشراف على المتدربين
5.3 التأكد من أن جميع أنظمة إدارة الجودة الشاملة المطبقة يتم تنفيذها بشكل فعال وتقييم نتائج مراقبة ضمان الجودة.
5.4 يشرف على عمل مقاولي الصيانة الخارجية ويقيم حالة المعدات بعد أي عمل من هذا القبيل.
5.5 يواكب التطورات ذات الصلة في مجال العلاج الإشعاعي. يربط ويطبق هذه التطورات لإيجاد حلول للمشاكل السريرية. لإجراء البحوث الأصلية لتحقيق هذا الهدف.
6 ينوب عن رئيسه حسب الحاجة.
7 يسعى جاهداً لتحسين خبرته العلمية والسريرية وكذلك مستوى الممارسة والتعرف على أي اتجاه حالي في مجال تخصصه.
8 دعم أنشطة ضمان الجودة للفريق والمساهمة بنشاط في تحديد التحسين المطلوب في تقديم الخدمات والاستراتيجيات الحالية
المهارات
1 Bachelor Degree in Medical Physics
2 Registration and Accreditation with Saudi Council for Health Specialties as Specialist Category
3 He Perfers it Minimum of five (5) years postgraduate working experience in Radiation Therapy
4 Publisher of original work, have participated and preferably led original research.
5 Self-motivated and with awareness of current trends in the field.
6 Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
7 Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English
1 بكالوريوس فيزياء طبية
2 التسجيل والاعتماد لدى الهيئة السعودية للتخصصات الصحية كفئة أخصائي
3 يتمتع بخبرة عمل لا تقل عن خمس (5) سنوات بعد التخرج في العلاج الإشعاعي
4 ناشر للعمل الأصلي، شارك ويفضل أن يكون قاد البحث الأصلي.
5 لديهم دوافع ذاتية ومع الوعي بالاتجاهات الحالية في هذا المجال.
6 القدرة على العمل في بيئة متعددة الثقافات
7 القدرة على التحدث والكتابة والقراءة باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.
