المهام و الواجبات
3.1 Oversee public health programs, including statistical analysis, health care
planning, surveillance systems, and public health improvement.
3.2 Manage disease surveillance systems for the public through Health Electronic
Surveillance Network (HESN).
3.3 Begin epidemiological investigations of communicable disease outbreaks, disease
risk factors, or other adverse health outcomes.
3.4 Conduct preventive medicine inspections.
3.5 Perform epidemiological and statistical analyses on data and prepares results for
review.
3.6 Propose corrective action or interventions to prevent or alleviate public health
problems based on epidemiological findings.
3.7 Maintain records and databases.
3.8 Fulfils the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to
continuing medical education.
3.9 Assess in pre-employment medical check-ups and advises on suitability/fitness of
candidates, ensures that military personnel vaccinations are up to date.
3.10 Conducts periodic check-ups on military personnel, designs appropriate forms for
these check-ups..
3.11Develops a close liaison with Microbiology to follow up infectious diseases.
3.12Assess in food inspections, Conducts sanitation evaluations. Determines
compliance with sanitary standards and reports discrepancies. Recommends
inspection frequencies and schedules/conducts food/sanitation training.
3.13Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her
knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical
facilities
