Duties and Responsibilities:
Clinical duties:
1 Anaesthetic outpatient and inpatient care.
2 Engage in all allocated list pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post\u0002operatively.
3 Responsibles for pre-anaesthesia assessment for each patient you are involved in.
4 Assist in and prepare the anesthetic machine and drugs before each case.
5 Participates in induction / maintenance / reversal of each patient.
6 Patients for and execute relevant regional techniques.
7 Handover to recovery of other staff including ICU.
8 Be available to review patients as required in recovery or on the ward.
9 Review as many patients post-operatively as possible.
10 Ensures appropriate documentation.
11 During medical decision 'making, ensures appropriate consultation with senior staff, other professional staff and consultant patient and their relatives.
12 Ensures appropriate communication with patients and staff.
13 Active participation in the after hours Anaesthetic Registrar roster.
14 Participates in acute pain management.
15 Participates in obstetric anaesthesia services.
Non Clinical Duties:
16 engage in self directed as well as work directed learning of relevant principle and materials.
17 Adequate progress through the examinations, training and modules.
18 Participates in department and continuing education program.
19 Participates in quality Assurance activities.
20 Teaching of junior medical staff, students and other personnel
21 Presenting at Department meetings.
22 Participation in administrative duties as required.
المهارات
Demonstrated in Clinical Competence.
Good communication skills fluent in Arabic and English.
المؤهلات العلمية
MB BSH Master degree in Anaethesia / Eligible for equalization-registration by the Saudi organization of Health specialties as Registrar within his /her speciarty and / or subspeciarty.
