Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct.

Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department and the hospital as per the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.

Actively participates in the education requirement for the department and the hospital as per the Hospital Education Program. 

Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the scope of practice and employment contract 

Completes Planned Preventive Maintenance as per procedure.

Cleans of filters and drain lines.

Installs new pump units.

Inspects all pumps and motors during PPM. 

Tests, evaluates the sound of engines, noting temperature and pressure changes.

Dismantles, assesses and repair all defects on   pump equipment of the centrifugal reciprocating and rotary type.

Re-builds, re-seals pumps and be fully conversant with their applications.

• Knowledge of repair motors, pumps and replacing of bearing for all equipment. 
• Good written and oral communication in English
