· Implements care in a thorough, skillful, consistent, and continuous manner.

· Evaluates effectiveness of care given by health care team members

· Identifies patient/ family learning needs and implements appropriate measures.

· Documents patient care and unit activities in a timely, accurate, and concise manner.

· Performs efficiently in emergency patient care situations following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate persons, and documenting events.

Participates regularly in staff development activities for unit and Department of Nursing personnel.

· Imparts knowledge to the patient through health teaching methods.

· Demonstrates knowledge of legal issues, including patient confidentiality and risk management in all aspects of patient care and

unit functioning.

· Participates in unit and Department Performance Improvement activities as directed.

· Establishes effective working relationships with members of the health care team, patients, and families.

· Identifies and solves problems effectively.

· Performs other related duties as necessary.

· Assists doctors during rounds and carry out new orders during the rounds.

· Undertake laboratory requests as ordered.

· Apply and maintain infection control and safety policy and adhered to in accordance with approved Infection Control Policies.

· Reporting all complaints, incidents and accidents to Team Leader, Charge Nurse and Head Nurse and Site Manager out of beyond working hours.

· Collaborates patient care to enable safe escorting or transferring to other hospital.

Responsible for keeping BLS and Saudi Council Certification updated.

· Informs the Head Nurse / Charge Nurse of any changes in circumstances which affect the standard of care.

· Maintains clean and safe environment for the patients and attends to their personal and nutritional needs.

· Admits and discharges patients.

· Performs technical tasks like medication, injection and other nursing procedures.

· Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to dress code policy.

· Must have good critical thinking skills .

· Must be computer-literate
