Job Description
- Perform his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy
- Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department/service and within the hospital as per Quality Improvement and patient Safety Plan.
- Actively participates in all the education requirement and activities as per Hospital Education Program.
- Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of practice and employment contract.
- To attend the switchboard consul.
- Monitor up-to-date doctor's contact information, hospital emergency numbers, and hospital patient information system.
- Takes messages for non-stationary hospital personnel.
- Maintains emergency call schedule for emergency situations, physicians, staff and on-call hospital personnel.
- Page individuals, hospital lectures via Public Address System.
- Writes up and maintain a log for telephone trouble reports.
- Maintain radio pager (bleeper) log.
- Monitor any changes in the doctor's call board. Keeps up-to-date all on-call schedules at all times.
