Job Description
- Examine and evaluate a variety of documents in order to determine appropriate data for scanning using knowledge of policies, procedures and other guidelines as required.
- Check and verify data previously entered by self or others in order to determine completeness and accuracy of electronic records and correcting data entries as necessary.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of employees’ electronic data.
-Verify input data or ensure accuracy of completed work scans and edits for error during processing.
- Extract and release information according to specified criteria and in strict compliance with established policies, procedures and/or regulations; answers questions from departments and others on specific data as required.
- Input and retrieve information in prescribed format, utilizing knowledge of various computer software packages.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities
Skills Description
- A close working knowledge of computer application and experience in applying system development methodologies in a related environment.
- Ability to type (80) words per minute in the computer.
- Ability to communicate effective, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to resolve data input, storage and/or retrieval problems and design solutions and modifications.
- Ability to work together with all staff members.
- Well organized, work independently with a high volume of accounts and ability to work under pressure.
