Prepares the full range of consumables and instruments and maintains stock to the necessary levels for the dentist.
Responsible for sterilization, preparation and presentation of instruments for each patients and each clinical procedure.
Provides direct clear-side assistance during all clinical procedures in the dental surgery.
Maintains the cleanliness and proper arrangement in the clinic.
Performs the daily log/status/statistic of the patient.
Reports any damaged instruments and equipments to Dental Assistant Supervisor.
Records treatment carried out as directed by the Dentist.
Take and develops radiographs as directed by the Dentist, including Periapical, Cephalometric and OPG.
Responsible for assisting the Dentist during all Dental procedures in the clinic.
Responsible for the cleanliness, sterilization and general care of the equipment and operatory at all times.
Takes accurate radiographs, including “O.P.G films” and ensures that they are labeled and place in the appropriate section in the patient’s record chart.
Monitors the well-being of the patient during the Dental treatment and instructs the patient of any after care procedure that need to be followed.
Organizes dentist appointment schedule, liaises with the patient, checks and ensures that the correct appointment are given.
Maintains confidentiality of all patients/staff communication.
Performs and maintains Infection Control guidelines.

Knowledgeable and ability to set-up, operate and maintain all Dental equipment related to his/her work.
Ability to maintain and manage clinic independently.
Ability to work with others as a team member.
Ability to communicate effectively.
