Job Description
- Establish minimum-maximum level stocks to ensure reorder quantity determination.
- Monitor issuance of items and review stock level to know weekly and average monthly usage (AMU) for determination fast, slow and non-moving items.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and scheduling deliveries of bulky items and with short expiration date to minimize location and expiring supplies.
- Coordinate with the end-users requirements and discussions of alternative products and new market offer. (Material Planning)
- Responsible for coding of the stock items and updating master file.
- Liaise with user departments, supply operations and MMS concerning viability and scheduling of standing orders.
- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee's knowledge,skills and abilities.
Skills Description
- Experience/familiarity Ms office applications.
- Knowledge of accounting theories and practices.
- Good communication and negotiating skills
- Ability to supervise clerical staff if necessary
