• 5.1 Perform assigned duties.
• 5.2 Accurately fill prescriptions and orders with correct medications, quantities and of
• suitable shelf life and properly and elegantly fix labels to containers.
• 5.3 Maintain confidentiality as per policies.
• 5.4 Monitor shelves and assist in requesting and topping up needed medications in all
• pharmacy areas.
• 5.5 Monitor and fill the floor stock list (lnpatient Technician).
• 5.6 Understand pharmacy computer system to enter floor stocks, discharge prescriptions,
• and order fill list/labels from the computer center (Inpatient Technician)
• 5.7 Inspect medications on shelves, identify short-date batches and remove expired ones.
• 5.8 Maintain necessary documents and logbooks.
• 5.9 Assist in running audits' studies and collection of data as per approved
• protocols. (lnpatient Technician)
• 5.10 Pack/Repack medications from bulk bottles for easy preparation.
• 5.11 Maintain necessary documents and logbooks.
• 5.12 Maintain daily checking of the refrigerators, room temperature, and cleaning
• schedule for the pill counters.
• 5.13 Participate in ongoing educational activities and CQI and research activities.
• 5.14 Fulfill assignments made by the Administration.
• 5.15 Fulfill any task might be asked to do by the area supervisor.
• 5.16 Screen retuned medications and take appropriate action(s) as guided by the policy
• and procedure.
• 5.17 Assist in running audits' studies and collection of data as per approved protocols.
• 5.18 Assist in stocktaking and inventory procedures.
• 5.19 Respond to major disaster calls and related demands.
• 5.20 Assist in maintaining high level of security and safety aspects in all areas of the
• pharmacy, especially in the Storeroom.
