صيدلي محاليل وريدية (IV Pharmacy)

1. Compounds sterile preparations (CSP), (IV Admixture. PN etc) and reviews their perceptions appropriately as per local and international quality standards
2. Advise and educate other healthcare professionals on the preparation and administration of intravenous medications.
3. Supervises and delegates aspects of pharmacy practice to pharmacy technicians within the parameters of their job description, including but not limited to sterile compounding procedures.
4. Responds to drug information requests relevant to sterile compounding.
5. Assists the IVPN specialist in updating the sterile compounding policies, procedures, guidelines, and forms.
6. Documents recommendations, medication errors, and adverse drug reactions after taking appropriate actions. Supports their data analysis and root cause analysis whenever applicable.
7. Refer pending and unresolved difficulties to the senior level (e.g IVPN specialist, senior Pharmacists, location supervisor, or Clinical Pharmacist).
8. Participates in the pharmacy on-call rotation.
9. Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills, and abilities.

٤ يستجيب للأسئلة والاستفسارات المتعلقة بالتحضيرات العقيمة.
٥ يساعد أخصائي المحاليل الوريدية والتغذية الداعمة في تحديث السياسات، الإجراءات، الإرشادات، والنماذج المتعلقة بالمستحضرات العقيمة.
٦ يسجل التوصيات، الأخطاء الدوائية، والأعراض الجانبية للأدوية بعد اتخاذ الإجراء المناسب. ويساعد في تحليل البيانات المتعلقة بها وإجراء تحليل السبب الجذري للخطأ كلما كان ذلك ممكنا.
٧ يقوم بإحالة المشكلات المعلقة والتي لم يتم حلها إلى المستوى الوظيفي الأعلى (مثل أخصائي المحاليل الوريدية والتغذية الداعمة، مشرفي المواقع و الصيادلة الإكلينيكيين).
٨ يشارك في جدول مناوبات الصيدلية.
٩ يقوم بآداء المهام والواجبات الأخرى المكلف بها بما يتناسب مع معارفه، خبراته، وقدراته

2. Ability to work independently and handle stress appropriately, demonstrates leadership In the practice of pharmacy, ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively With branch departments ability to set priorities. makes critical decisions, and responds quickly to emergency requests.
