اخصائي علاج تنفسي (Respiratory Therapist)

1. Perform all duties and responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapists and other subordinates.
2. Delivers aerosolized medications for inhalation per physician prescription during PFT.
3. Provide chest physical therapy, and hyperinflation therapy as order by physician.
4. Obtains, analyzes and assesses arterial blood gas and acid-base data, and report results to the attending physician.
5. Administer Nitric Oxide Gas, and Heliox gas therapy.
6. Facilitate emergency airway procedure. Perform Orotracheal intubation as needed.
7. Apply appropriate mechanical ventilator modalities ad initiated by physician order.
8. Evaluates and manages all assigned patients receiving mechanical life suppoft ventilation.
9. Adjust mechanical ventilation according to clinical situation with consultation of attending physician.
10. Perform beside pulmonary mechanics measures for ventilated patients.
11. Evaluate mechanically ventilated patients for extubation readiness.
12. Formulate weaning plan with consultation of attended physician.
13. Suggest and apply appropriate weaning methods of extubation.
14. Institute and monitor oscillating ventilation for paediatric and adult patients.
15. Monitor cardiopulmonary stats of all assigned patients.
16. Interpret clinical data to optimize patient clinical objectives.
17. Perform tracheotomy tube changes.
18. Transport patients requiring mechanical ventilation or airway protection.
19. Prepares and maintains emergency kits for airway intubation.
20. Serve as member of the emergency cardiac team.
21. Participate in clinical rounds with physicians, nurses and other health care providers.
22. Provide orientation and preceptorship for newly employed respiratory therapists and
students.
23. Instruct patients and/or family members in the use of therapeutic techniques as prescribed by physician.

11. تقييم المرضى الذين يخضعون للتهوية الميكانيكية للاستعداد لنزع الأنبوب.
12. صياغة خطة الفطام مع استشارة الطبيب المعالج.
13. اقتراح وتطبيق طرق الفطام المناسبة لنزع الأنبوب.
14. معهد ومراقبة التهوية المتذبذبة للأطفال والكبار المرضى.
15. مراقبة الإحصائيات القلبية الرئوية لجميع المرضى المعينين.
16. تفسير البيانات السريرية لتحسين الأهداف السريرية للمريض.
17. إجراء تغييرات أنبوب القصبة الهوائية.
18. نقل المرضى الذين يحتاجون إلى تهوية ميكانيكية أو حماية مجرى الهواء.
19. يعد ويحافظ على مجموعات الطوارئ لتنبيب مجرى الهواء.
20. يخدم كعضو في فريق القلب في حالات الطوارئ.
21. المشاركة في الجولات السريرية مع الأطباء والممرضات ومقدمي الرعاية الصحية الآخرين.
22. توفير التوجيه والإرشاد لمعالجي الجهاز التنفسي المعينين حديثًا و
طلاب.
23. إرشاد المرضى و / أو أفراد الأسرة في استخدام التقنيات العلاجية كما هو موصوف من قبل الطبيب.

1 Bachelor Degree of Science in respiratory Care
2 Registered Respiratory Therapist or eaquivalent.
3 One (1) years experience in providing critical respiratory care.
4 Experience of the full range of intensive care unit.
5 Fluent English language (Speaking and writing)
6 Arabic language skills preferred.
