1 Performs Nuclear Medicine Scanning in accordance with the Department Policies, Procedure and Guideline

2 Supervises scheduling, patient transportation and preparations for Nuclear Medicine Scans

3 Ensures the safety of patients according to the Departmental Guidelines for Health and Safety

4 Processes studies and produces a computer-generated image for interpretation by a physician

5 Maintains and calibrates radioisotope equipment in collaboration with physicist

6 Liaises with medical, nursing and ancillary staff to ensure an efficient service

7 Participate in in-service education and training when required

8 Performs other duties and tasks as required within the realm of their knowledge and ability

1 Bachelor's Degree In Radiography or equivalentBachelor's Degree In Radiography or equivalent

2 Must have a current state registration.

3 Knowledge and experience in General Radiography is essential

4 Knowledge in other specialty procedures especially in CT Scan

5 The applicant will have at least 3 years post-graduate qualification in the profession

 6 The applicant will be proficient in Nuclear Medicine Scanning and be able to perform and comment on most examination.
