4.1.3 Document care and report any changes in patients condition

4.1.4 Interpret orders, evaluate diagnostic test to identify and assess patients condition.

4.1.5 Practice nursing in accordance with professional values and moral principles and maintains confidentiality as appropriate.

4.1.6 Ensures staff performance working within his / her scope of professional is line with facility, policies, procedures and standards.

 4.1.7 Ensure staff performance of nursing practice is supported by nursing knowledge, research and reflective practice.

4.1.8 Promotes and environment which maximize patient's by utilizing infection control practices and patient's safety programs.

4.1.9 Perform other applicable tasks and duties within the realm of her knowledge, skills and abilities as assigned and delegated in accordance with hospital policy.

4.1.10 Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.

4.1.11 Prepares and administers ( orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medication. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.

4.1.12 Provides basic newborn care , bedside care.

4.1.13 Records patient's medical information and vital signs.

4.1.14 Orders, interprets and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition.

4.1.15 Takes samples for lab work, orders prescribed lab work/ perform routine procedure for investigation

4.1.16 Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment of patient. 4.1.17 Responds to life - saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol.

4.1.18 Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in appropriate format and on the appropriate form.

4.1.19 Applies Hemodynamic, phlebotomy and IV protocols.

4.1.20 Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays, such as intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, pulmonary artery pressures and cardiac rhythms from cardiac monitors, respirators ventilators, manometers, oxygen pumps, etc.

4.1.21 Monitors catheters, leads and tubing for proper placement and functioning

4.1.22 Initiates corrective action whenever information from monitoring / file support equipment shows adverse symptomatology.
