Duties and Responsibilities
sample preparation, analysis and recording of results, under the direcüon of senior laboratory staff and the appropriate consultant.
3.2 Ensures adherence to policies, (PPGs, Work etc.) procedures, quality standards and safety standards.
3.3 Use deparünent computer equipment to verify patient results.
3.4Reports abnormal and critical results according to PPG.
3.5Assists in training as required.
3.6Take part in department on-call schedule.
3.7Rotates throughout the laboratory department as required.
3.8Educates patients and/or families on matters relevant to the patient's condition/s as applicable
3.9and upholds the rights of the patients their families.
3.10 Participates in quality improvement and patient safety activities and attends quality educaüonal activffia as appropriate.
