3.1Participate in strategic planning for the Health Care Facility.

3.2 Provide technical and consulting support on CQI predicts in all departments.

3.3 Coordinate implementation of the changes to improve work processes according to
CQI project results.

3.4 Monitor performance through audits and regular review of minutes of meetings of all
departments and Standing Senior Teams as per CQI&PS implernentation Guidelines
in MHS facilities.

3.5 Benchmark performance indicators against a set of Local / International standard to
improve quality.

3.6 Monitor performance indicators regularly to improve quality and prepare performance
indicators reports quarterly for sending to CQI Department in MSD.

3.7 Perform satisfaction survey for patient to improve services (at least once a year).

3.8 Follow-up CQI projects results and disseminate information about improvernent to all
departments.

3.9 Monitor progress of required process improvement projects and ensure targets are met
in accordance with the agreed deadlines

3.10 Report non-compliance to process improvement within the MHS to the CQI & Patient
Safety Director

Ensure implementation of process improvement program within the hospital.

3.12 Develop and provide process improvement training and orientation to all the staff.

3. l3 Protect and uphold the rights of the patients and their families.

3.14 Participate in quality improvement and patient safety activities and attends quality
improvement educational activities as appropriate.

3.15 Adhere to infection control guidelines.

3.16 Maintain confidentiality at all times.

3.17 Perform any other duties as assigned by the CQI&PS Director.
