Job Description
- Assist in creating plans for development and review of policies and procedures of the Unit.
- Produce timely reports and respond to requests .
- Keeps all unit activities in alignment with the vice deanship's mission/goals and maintains consistency with the college’s mission and goals.
- Encourages creative thinking and explores ways to nurture innovative thinking across the college.
- Recognizes promising ideas and find ways to integrate them into the college’s future plans and dismiss ideas that are ineffective, costly, or beyond the scope of the college’s mission or abilities
- Provide training opportunities to connect and inspire the college community to engage in innovation.
- Inspires the creative team to more advanced and better work using brainstorming sessions, team meetings, and other strategic tools.
- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.
Skills Description
- Innovation awareness and creative mind
- Computer competency in word processing, presentation, and Spreadsheet software
- Well-informed of the patent system and policies related to innovation.
- Working knowledge of statistical analyses software
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external constituencies of the College
